I thank you Lord for everything that You have given me.

I have an illustration about fighting temptation, it is like killing a spider. Ok, I went to my room after watching a movie, and there was this spider on the corner of the ceiling (so it was up there), I got so scared to kill it because it was on the top, I was afraid that if I miss it might jump at me. Well but if I didn't kill it then I would have this insecure feeling before I go to sleep because that spider was there. So then I asked God for strength, then I just took a broom thingy and just smack the spider and it went on the floor and I smacked it while it was on the floor.

Fighting temptation is hard because people don't want to face it themselves, just like killing the spider, but if they can just take the courage and just fight it!! then without knowing, that temptation is going to be inferior than them (this is the part when the spider is on the floor and vulnerable), and they can just defeat it easily.

God has been so great, I just need to realize that He is in fully control, He already plan everything out for us, we just have to rely on Him.

Pastor Oscar shared about trusting God for everything has it's own time. In Deuteronomy 29:29, says that "The secret things belong to the LORD our God, but the things revealed belong to us and to our children forever, that we may follow all the words of this law."

We are not supposed to know about everything that is happening in our life because then if we do, then our faith is not going to play role in our relationship with God at all.

I just want to trust God at all time because I know that He is in control.
